(Very) modern manners

ON the subject of table manners, our upper classes are positively barking. The Duke of Rutland’s daughter, Lady Eliza Manners, allows her pet pug, Lord Winston, to parade across the dining table at her family’s magnificent home, Belvoir Castle.

To prove it, her sister Lady Alice shared this snap of the dog going walkies as diners tucked into their puddings.

Lord Winston is not the only pooch afforded special privileges. Earlier this year, the Marquess of Bute’s daughter, Lady Lola Crichton-Stuart, was pictured cuddling up in the bathtub with Banana, a Chiweenie or Chihuahua-Dachshund cross. Woof woof!
