SWANSEA OFFER POTTER IMPOVED DEAL TO KEEP HIM

-

SWANSEA CITY have offered Graham Potter an improved deal in an effort to fight off interest from Brighton, who have made Potter their No 1 choice to replace sacked manager Chris Hughton. Brighton had an approach rejected earlier this week by Swansea, who want £2million compensation for the Englishman. Potter, 43, has two years to run on his contract.

POLICE are investigating an incident at Portsmouth’s Fratton Park on Thursday night where a fan appeared to kick and punch Sunderland defender Luke O’Nien. O’Nien declined to press charges and no arrest was made at the ground.

EVERTON have held talks over a proposed two-year deal for goalkeeper Jonas Lossl. The 30-year old Denmark international, who was released by Huddersfield following their relegation, is wanted by Everton to provide cover for Jordan Pickford.
