DEENEY NEEDS HELP TO HURT CITY

WATFORD’S best chance is to have players forward in numbers to ask questions of City’s full backs. Usually, Kyle Walker and Oleksandr Zinchenko are able to raid forward. With just one up front against them, City can saturate the front areas and do not have to look after their centre backs. With two up top, they might have to think twice. Should one of us have to sit back? What it does mean is that whenever Watford do get the ball they must hit areas for the front two to get into. Hit diagonal balls and use Gerard Deulofeu and Roberto Pereyra’s energy and pace. You can build that platform with two strikers.

THIS IS a huge day for Troy Deeney. He has never had the chance to go to Wembley with England. This could be his final. He holds the ball up really well but needs someone alongside him.
