DAME HELEN MIRREN, 73, turned heads on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festiva l this weekend debuting new pastel pink hair (left).

The one-nightonly colour was thanks to a Colorista Spray by L’Oreal Paris (£6.99, boots.com), for whom the actress is a brand ambassador.

The temporary sprays, which come in eight shades, allow you to experiment safe in the knowledge they will wash straight out.
