Don’t fall for the climate fears of the eco zealots

ECO zealots, aided and abetted by some elements of the Government, will ruin us all.

Our cars will be worthless when petrol and diesel engines are banned, and our houses will have no resale value if they don’t comply with eco regulations.

We will not be able to eat what we like and our whole lives will be subject to control. Companies and investments will be worth nothing unless they comply with rules set by fringe enthusiasts.

This may sound like something out of a Big Brother film, but we are already on this path. Gullible MPs are falling for unsound projections of doom about global warming. But it will lead to a different doom if we follow such an extreme approach.

The developing world with its industrial economies will not slow down as they build wealth for their citizens. When Britain is left behind, who will support our eco saints then?

Who will be the ‘ heretic’ in Government to bring some sense and balance to this issue? MICHAEL J. COLE, Wolstanton, Staffs.
