SHE’S STILL KILLING IT!

Eve star Jodie gunning for Hollywood glory in comedy

SHE was the cool international assassin who captivated millions as she left a trail of bodies in her wake in Killing Eve.

Now Jodie Comer, 26, has her sights firmly set on making another killing – this time in Hollywood.

Miss Comer, who won a best actress Bafta for her role as Villanelle in BBC thriller Killing Eve, was seen wielding a gun again this week as she shot a new film with Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds

The Liverpool-born actress, wearing skin- tight leather trousers, pushed the gun into Reynolds’ ribs in a bank robbery sequence for action comedy Free Guy in Boston.

The film is about a lonely bank worker – 42-year-old Reynolds – who discovers he’s a player inside a massive video game called Free City. Miss Comer, who plays a ‘mousy programmer’ and an avatar called Molotov Girl, told Grazia magazine she could not believe that A-lister Reynolds follows her on Instagram.

She said: ‘ It is a “pinch me” moment. He’s just the funniest, nicest guy and to have him stand up and back me and be happy to work with me is very overwhelming – you’ve got to pinch yourself.’

The actress said of Villanelle: ‘I have to leave Jodie at the door to play her. She is so free and has no sense of consequence or fear. You get to do all this crazy stuff.’

She added: ‘I feel extremely lucky. A lot of characters I’ve played have been complex and challenging.’ Killing Eve returns later this year.
