Sacre bleu! A French chef ’s turned up

COOK Beryl Patmore (Lesley Nicol, right) has a run-in with the royal chef (Philippe Spall, left) who walks through the kitchen demanding ingredients. Mrs Patmore, who had been busy planning for the luncheon and dinner — as well as a military parade through the village — has her pride dented by his arrogance.
