Superdry finance hire

FASHION chain Superdry has poached the chief financial officer of cycling retailer Wiggle as it shakes up its board. Nick Gresham, 48, previously headed the finance divisions of Oak Furnitureland and newspaper distributor Connect.

He will take up the chief finance role on an interim basis as Superdry seeks a long-term replacement for Ed Barker who quit after co-founder Julian Dunkerton won a battle to regain a seat on the board.

It has not yet decided on a permanent candidate. Chairman Peter Williams said: ‘This is an important step as we continue to focus on rebuilding the board and putting the right leadership and corporate governance structure in place.’
