I BAGGED 1,000 AIRMILES BY HIRING A CAR
TRACY WARNES, 54, has pocketed more than £3,000 since joining TopCashback four years ago. Tracy, from near Woodbridge, Suffolk, mainly uses the site when booking her holidays.
She’s a big fan of road trips and uses Expedia quite a lot — which can net you as much as 10 pc cashback on hotels.
Tracy, who works for a farm inspection agency, says: ‘I wasn’t expecting the site to really give me
cash — so was delighted when it did. I’ve used it loads, from grocery shopping through to buying plants and switching utility providers. The money adds up over time. I also pay with my Amex card, so I get even more cashback on spending.’
One of Tracy’s best TopCashback deals was when she bought a car insurance policy with Aviva, which earned her £60 in cashback. ‘Another of the best deals I had was Hertz car rental, offering about £50 cashback and 1,000 Virgin airmiles for booking a hire car. There are some great cashback offers if you look around.’
Tracy usually turns her cashback earnings into Amazon vouchers to help stretch her household budget and frees up cash for more adventures.
‘The cashback is great for the boring essentials, like general shopping needs,’ Tracy says. ‘It’s on offer on pretty much everything at some stage.’
