Trump to bring his whole clan to UK

- By Rebecca English

DONALD Trump’s family are joining him on next month’s state visit to the UK, it was reported last night.

The US President will be accompanied by wife Melania and four of his five children, an American news network said.

The party will include Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner, Tiffany Trump, Donald Trump Jr and Eric Trump and his wife Lara. The President’s youngest son Barron, 12, will not join them.

Details of the trip are still being ironed out but the Trump family are expected to be at a banquet hosted by the Queen on June 3.

According to ABC News, one potential meeting on the trip will be between the Trump children and Prince William and his wife, the Duchess of Cambridge.

Mr Trump’s visit will take place from

June 3 to June 5 and will coincide with the 75th anniversary of D-Day. It will be his second trip to the UK, although his previous visit was downgraded to a working trip.

The Mail revealed how Mr Trump’s visit will include tea with Prince Charles, who he did not meet last time – an encounter which could prove interesting given their vastly differing views on climate change.

The trip will be a welcome distraction for Mr Trump, who stormed out of a meeting with Democratic leaders after three minutes on Wednesday because House of Representatives speaker Nancy Pelosi accused him of a ‘cover-up’.

Yesterday she said he was ‘villainous’ and was trying to goad Democrats into impeaching him.
