Out of the mouths of babes

MY DAUGHTER Amelia, aged five, was crying because she couldn’t get to sleep. I suggested she should imagine a field with sheep passing through the gate one by one, and told her to count the sheep, and she would soon find herself asleep. After about five minutes, the howling started again, and I went in and asked Amelia what was the matter. She told me she had been counting the sheep and that her field was now absolutely full!
