POCH POSITIVE ON KANE’S RECOVERY

MAURICIO POCHETTINO has revealed that Harry Kane is winning his race to be fit for the Champions League final against Liverpool.

The striker suffered ‘significant’ ankle ligament damage in Spurs’ quarter- final first leg against Manchester City in April.

He was pictured stepping up training this week and speaking in a video conference at the Bilbao International Football Summit yesterday manager Pochettino said: ‘He has entered the final stage of his recovery. We’re hoping he’ll be able to give us a hand — either from the start, from the bench or if not, then by giving us moral support.

‘But we are optimistic that he’ll be able to help us on the pitch.’
