Countdown to motherhood for Rachel Riley
COUNTDOWN star Rachel Riley announced yesterday she is expecting a baby with an anagram that fans of the show would have little difficulty cracking.
The 33-year-old announced the news on Instagram with a picture of herself cradling a baby bump in the Channel 4 studio.
Referring to boyfriend Pasha Kovalev – her former partner on Strictly Come Dancing – she wrote: ‘Pash and I have a conundrum for you... you have till December to work it out!’
The board behind her read ‘R TINY MATE’ – an anagram for ‘maternity’.
Miss Riley split from her husband and fellow Oxford University student Jamie Gilbert in 2013 and started dating Kovalev after they were paired in Strictly. The professional dancer, 39, quit the show, which he won in 2014 with Caroline Flack, earlier this year to ‘find a new challenge’.
