MISSING . . .

-

A REUNION of workmates would be complete if a former colleague could be traced.

Nat Parmar, 76, of Reading, Berkshire, is looking for Fiona Watts, who worked in the Seventies at Freightliners Ltd in Paddington, West London.

‘She was with us for a couple of years before leaving to travel and work out what she wanted to do with her life,’ says Nat.

‘Fiona was tall and beautiful, with a great sense of humour. She was then in her late 20s or early 30s, was serious about her Iranian boyfriend and read books on the country’s history and culture. Former Freightliners employees meet up once or twice a year to catch up. We often talk about Fiona.

‘Some of the people we used to work with were boss Vernon Barrett, and Eddie Edwards, Roy Jones, Phil Spracklen, Mike Lay, Peter Collins, Norman Chong, Heather Maltby, Janice Campbell and Liz Scully.

‘I was accounts manager until 1990 when I took redundancy. I joined Foster Wheeler Energy Ltd in Reading, Berkshire, which built oil refineries and petrochemical plants worldwide, retiring in 2007.’
