TATTOOS might still be associated with drunken, muscle-bound sailors in some minds, but wellborn model Frankie Herbert is determined to show they’re suitable for the upper classes, too.

Frankie, 23, is the niece of the Earl of Carnarvon, who owns Highclere Castle, where Downton Abbey was filmed. She’s had flowers inked on her left arm. ‘I love my spindly daisy friends,’ Frankie tells fans next to this photo posted online.

Frankie’s not the first aristo to go under the needle — the Queen’s late cousin, Patrick Lichfield, had a seahorse on his arm.
