DR MAX PRESCRIBES...
FLORENCE NIGHTINGALE’S MUSEUM
JUST a few minutes from London’s Waterloo station in the grounds of St Thomas’s Hospital, this is a hidden gem. As well as exploring the legacy of Florence nightingale, there is currently a fascinating exhibition about the 1918 Spanish flu pandemic, great for youngsters who are interested in medicine. What’s more, it really champions the work of nurses, which gets a big thumbs up from me.
