- By Eleanor Sharples TV & Radio Reporter

ANNEKA Rice has signed up to Strictly Come Dancing.

The TV presenter is believed to be appearing on the upcoming series of BBC’s hit talent show, after bosses failed to secure her last year.

Miss Rice, 60, is said to be excited to ‘strut her stuff’ on the show.

‘Strictly believe they’ve made a top signing in Anneka,’ a source told The Sun. ‘She’s a TV institution and a familiar face to viewers.

‘Anneka is in great shape and can’t wait to strut her stuff.’

The mother-of-three rose to fame on Channel 4’s Treasure Hunt in the 1980s and later hosted Challenge Anneka for five years.

She quit television in 1995 to bring up her children.

Speaking to Lorraine Kelly last month, she revealed how, after being fired by her agent in 2004, she became her own one – taking on the name Clemmie Hart. Miss Rice said: ‘Everyone loved her and it was me.’
