WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?, 9PM, BBC1
SHE may get a little shaken — but not stirred — in the Bond films, but Naomie Harris (pictured) is put through the emotional wringer as the 16th series of the genealogy show continues. The actress travels to Jamaica, where her mother’s family lived; she discovers how hard life could be in the capital, Kingston, in the early 20th century, and that some of her own ancestors had been slaves since the age of six. She’s surprised to find out that her grandfather was born out of wedlock, but a bigger shock comes in Trinidad when she learns that her four-times greatgrandfather managed paid slaves on a plantation. How will she deal with this revelation?
