THE series in which an elite FBI unit saves Americans from flat-flooted foreign police returns for a new-to-Freeview run. The first case is a shocker — 23 U.S. Christian volunteers, vanished from a train in Tanzania — and the team call on the help of Garcia from Criminal Minds.

IN THIS fast-paced Las Vegas-set crime drama, Jamie Foxx stars as undercover cop Vincent Downs, who is deeply embedded in the city’s corruption. ROMANTIC FANTASY

THE first half of this new episode is a borderline farce, with a body in the brothel and illicit booze downstairs — and the authoritie­s in danger of finding both. When that all settles down, Claire (Caitriona Balfe) ponders whether to restart her career as a healer; whether she does or not, change is certainly coming by the time the credits roll.

‘AS A batsman,batsman he was pure box office,’ reflects Nasser Hussain on Kevin Pietersen (pictured) in a feature-length version of Sky’s five-part profile of the colourful former England cricketer. It’s hinged around an interview between Hussain and Pietersen that takes the odd combative turn, and has tales from others about his upbringing and more.

WESTERN REMAKE

True Grit, 10.50pm, Film4

THE Coens’ remake of the 1969 classic stars Jeff Bridges as Rooster Cogburn. The film belongs as much to Hailee Steinfeld’s Mattie, the girl out to avenge her father’s murder.

MUSICAL PROFILE

Hamilton: One Shot To Broadway, 11pm, Sky Arts

THE musical Hamilton was a hit from its off-Broadway premiere in 2015. This basic but interestin­g new profile digs into the profession­al life of its creator, Lin-Manuel Miranda, who wrote the lyrics and script, and also starred in this hip-hop production about an unfairly obscure founding father.
