About to turn 60, slimline Cowell shows off tanned and toned torso
HE surprised fans with his brand new look after losing more than 20lb this year.
Now Simon Cowell has shown off his impressively toned torso and muscular physique during a family holiday in Mexico.
The X Factor judge, who turns 60 next Monday, looked decidedly trim as he enjoyed the sun with his family.
As well as shedding a significant amount of weight, which he has put down to his new vegan diet, Cowell appears to have been hitting the gym and has the beginnings of a six-pack. Proving that he’s sticking to his regime, the music mogul was seen sipping a green juice during his break in Cabo San Lucas with his partner Lauren Silverman, 42, and their son Eric, five.
Cowell looked markedly different from how he did ten months ago when he was spotted holidaying in the sun in Barbados displaying a rounder physique.
As well as losing weight, in August he had noticeably whiter teeth and apparently smoother skin at the launch of America’s Got Talent in Hollywood.
Despite rumours that he has had various cosmetic procedures in order to obtain his new physique, he has maintained that it’s all down to his healthy vegan diet.
He has cut dairy, sugar, bread, gluten and meat from his diet following a visit to his doctor earlier this year.
He said: ‘It was easier than I thought, and part of the reason I did it was because of Eric. I realised if I didn’t sort myself out physically, I wouldn’t be able to catch up with him.’
