Is this really a major political scandal?

I CANNOT believe that Charlotte Edwardes took 20 years to bring her thigh-squeezing allegations about Boris Johnson to public attention. Why on earth didn’t she deal with it at the time? A quick slap would have done the trick.

LIKE Charlotte Edwardes, there are plenty of women who can say that this has happened to them, but it doesn’t mean that we should turn a blind eye — whoever it is. It is not acceptable behaviour now — and it certainly wasn’t then. This has nothing to do with politics and everything to do with a woman feeling strong and brave enough to speak out, in spite of the criticism she would have known she would receive.

You laugh it off or discreetly call them out on it. did this woman have such an attack of the vapours that it has taken her 20 years to report it?
