ARGENTINA legend Agustin Creevy says it will be war against ‘boring’ England in Saturday’s Pool C showdown. The Pumas lost their opening match to France and need a surprise victory to keep alive their chances of qualification. Hooker Creevy spent two years in the Premiership with Worcester Warriors and is desperate to land an upset against his former colleagues. ‘Saturday is going to be like a war, it’s like a final for us,’ he said. ‘Maybe my time in Worcester helped to see the way it will come on Saturday. ‘I learned a lot there and I understand a lot about how the England boys see rugby. They are really structured. They always play the same way. ‘They kick, they do some play in the middle. Sometimes it’s boring but it’s good for England — and it works.’ With 87 appearances to his name, Creevy will overtake Felipe Contepomi as his country’s most-capped player on Saturday. His starting place, however, is being contested by fellow hooker Julian Montoya, who scored a hat-trick in the victory over Tonga. Whoever is selected in the front row will be at the heart of the battle, with Creevy expecting the game to be won and lost in the pack. ‘I think the battle with the forwards will be the game,’ said Creevy. ‘We need to win the scrum, win the lineout, win the maul, win the contact, the breakdown. ‘The old scrum of Argentina is returning. We are working, training every week a lot and spending a lot of time with the props, second row, back row. Not only in the field but the hotel, we watch videos and we spend a lot of time together and are speaking about the scrum a lot. ‘When we put on this shirt, we feel something different. It’s our country, our family, my club. We play together, the group is really bonded. ‘That is different from other teams. We love each other and that is different from other teams. We are friends, we are brothers, inside and outside the field.’
