Gender agenda

-

DEBATE about who becomes the next Labour Party leader seems to centre on whether they should be a woman. Surely gender should not be the basis for deciding who should hold such an important position. It ought to be the best person for the job.

The last two Tory leaders were hobbled by the ERG and back-benchers and the Labour leader is constrained by Momentum, which is why we are in such a mess.

No matter who we elect, they will have puppet masters controlling them.

DAVE JOHNS, Brighton.
