MIDLIFE MATCHMAKING

I’VE been single, on and off, for some time, but I love the freedom and independence of it. I still enjoy dating: the key is to relax and have fun. Don’t just stick to online dating, go out and meet new people. I know what I’m looking for, but am also open to different ages and I’m realistic about my expectations. My advice to my younger self would be not to worry so much.

SLEEK AND SHINY HAIR

com). It helps to even out imperfections and blur fine lines, and I don’t need to use any foundation. When I do, I use No 7 Lift & Luminate Triple Action Serum Foundation (£18), which is very light. I often mix it with the day cream from the same range (£26, both boots.com), so it’s not too cloying and heavy.

FITNESS CHALLENGE

THIS summer, I moved to London from Ascot and felt like shaking up my fitness regimen: a new move, a new me! I now see a personal trainer for one hour a week and I do four gym sessions on my own. I’ve dropped a dress size and really firmed up my arms, stomach and legs. It’s been a real confidence boost.

LANGUAGE LEARNING

IT’S important to keep the mind strong as you get older. I speak four languages — Italian, French, English and Hebrew — and I’m currently learning Spanish. I use a free app called Duolingo whenever I have a free moment during the day. I’m planning to spend Christmas in Spain — it’s helpful to have a travel incentive!
