GUY BABYLON (1956-2009). The u.S. musician shunned his father’s attempts to get him to join the family concrete firm in favour of becoming Elton John’s keyboard player. Babylon toured with the star and appeared on several of his albums, including The Lion King and Made In England. Sir Elton said Babylon’s death at 52, following a heart attack, inspired him to start a family. DAN LENo (1860-1904). Born George Galvin, Leno was the first music hall entertainer to give a Royal Command Performance for the King. Known as the ‘original pantomime dame’, Leno first appeared on stage aged three as a tumbler. He was beloved for his comic song I’m Going To Buy Milk For The Twins.
