Good Yawning Britain! Jungle Kate oversleeps and misses her TV return
AFTER three weeks in the Australian jungle, it seems Kate Garraway is struggling to adjust to normal life.
The TV presenter accidentally overslept yesterday – missing her return to Good Morning Britain.
She was due back on the ITV breakfast show following her appearance on I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! But the 52-year-old fell asleep in her clothes and make-up the night before and forgot to set any of her six alarms, she said. Political editor Ranvir Singh, 42, had to step into replace her, co-hosting alongside Ben Shephard, 45.
Mortified Miss Garraway appeared by video link from home, saying she had never overslept in her 20-year career and adding: ‘I’m going to get fired. I can’t believe I’ve done this.’
