Labour losers

-

WILL someone explain to Keir Starmer, Diane Abbott and Emily Thornberry that they are also the reason why Labour did so poorly in the General Election.

If they had a shred of dignity, they would let others attempt to bring Labour back to the people.

No one on the Opposition front bench is worthy or competent enough to lead the party.

If Labour wants to be seen as capable of running Britain, it must ditch this bunch of losers.

GEORGE MANN, Nottingham. AS A Conservative and Leave voter, I back Rebecca Long-Bailey as the new leader of the Labour Party.

She is to the job of Shadow Business Secretary what Diane ‘two left feet’ Abbott is to the role of Chancellor.

ANDREW GIBB, Marlow, Bucks. WE WANT a clean fight — no kicking or scratching, swearing, spitting or shouting abuse.

I feel sorry for the poor referee who has to step into the political arena during the Labour leadership fight.

In the red corner is heavyweight Emily Thornberry and in the other red corners are lightweight Rebecca Long-Bailey, Keir Starmer the Brexit stomper and Wigan wonder Lisa

Nandy. Blue corners are banned. And the points will be added up by Diane Abbott.

WILLIAM FOOTES, Birmingham.
