CHAPTER one was a hit in 2017, and this sequel — while long and not as scary — is worth seeing purely for its adult cast. Jessica Chastain and James McAvoy star in the story of Pennywise’s return, set 27 years after the original.

BENSON’S half-brother turns up in this new episode and, as is usual with Simon, the results aren’t positive. Also turning up is Prison Break’s Wentworth Miller, who plays a helpful lawyer during a busy hour that tackles a rape case, past unjust conviction­s and attitudes to crime in low-income areas.

THE lives of four families are followed for three years in Sky’s rewarding new series. Tony is a boxing coach in Newport, with eight children by four women; at 52, he has decided to settle down with Emma (pictured with Tony), and the bringing together of their families is a tricky affair.
