SHE is the 18-year-old who is dominating the charts – but clearly for Billie Eilish the pop world is not enough.

She is about to take her music to a new audience by singing the title song for the 007 film No Time To Die, it was revealed yesterday.

The US teenager joins the likes of megastars Paul McCartney, Shirley Bassey, Madonna, Duran Duran and Adele, all of whom recorded themes for James Bond movies.

Miss Eilish, who recorded the track with her elder brother Finneas, 22, is the youngest artist to write a Bond song.

She said she was in shock at being asked to work on ‘the coolest film franchise ever’.

‘It feels crazy to be a part of this in every way,’ she said. ‘To be able to score the theme song to a film that is part of such a legendary series is a huge honour. James Bond is the coolest film franchise ever to exist. I’m still in shock.’

Miss Eilish has already won high profile fans, including Sir Paul McCartney, who recorded the 1973 theme to Live And Let

Die with his band Wings. She appeared at Glastonbury Festival last year wearing an outfit designed by the former Beatle’s daughter Stella McCartney.

The baggy T- shirt and shorts featured the Blue Meanies – music-hating characters from The Beatles’ animated film Yellow Submarine. The outfit also had the designer’s name in bold letters down the side, and ‘The Beatles’ on the back.

Miss Eilish told how Sir Paul delighted her parents when he spoke to them in a video call.

She said: ‘I was in a meeting with Stella McCartney and she FaceTimed her dad, who is Paul McCartney! My mom cried, my dad cried.’

Last month she appeared in the Carpool Karaoke slot on The Late Late Show, singing some of her hits with host James Corden and tricking the British comedian into holding her pet spider.

Confirmation of Miss Eilish’s involvement in No Time To Die came after she posted teaser pictures online of Bond stars including Lea Seydoux as Madeleine Swann from Spectre, Caterina Murino as Solange and Eva Green as

Vesper Lynd, both from Casino Royale and Halle Berry as Jinx Johnson from Die Another Day.

The film’s director, Cary Joji Fukunaga, said the track offers ‘a fresh new perspective’ and vocals that ‘will echo for generations to come’. Dua

Lipa, Beyonce and Adele were among those rumoured to be recording the theme for No Time To Die, which will be released in April. The film is the 25th in the Bond franchise and Daniel Craig’s fifth and final outing as 007.

Previous classic James Bond theme songs have included Shirley Bassey’s Goldfinger and Diamonds Are Forever, Madonna’s Die Another Day, A-ha’s The Living Daylights, Duran Duran’s A View To A Kill and Adele’s Skyfall.
