Letting down the Queen

HOW sad and tired our beloved Queen looked in the photo taken on her way to a church service in Windsor (Mail). She is so obviously concerned about her family.

on her 21st birthday, she promised: ‘I declare before you all that my whole life, whether it be long or short, shall be devoted to your service and the service of our great imperial family to which we all belong.’

To this day she has carried out her promise, so it is regrettable some of the royals have let her down.
