STERLING SET TO TRAVEL TO MADRID WITH CITY

RAHEEM STERLING is expected to join Manchester City’s travelling party for Madrid today. The forward, scorer of 24 goals for club and country this season, has missed City’s last two matches after suffering a hamstring problem at Tottenham earlier in the month. But there is confidence Sterling has done enough in training over the past few days to be in contention to play some part of tomorrow’s Champions League last 16 first leg against Real Madrid. Sterling is desperate to play as the Premier League champions face their toughest test yet.
