Woodford payout

inVEStoRS in the Woodford Equity income fund are set to receive a second payout this month of £142m.

But beleaguered savers who entrusted Woodford with their money have seen the value of their investments dwindle even further. the fund, which is being wound up by investment managers, is worth just 19.9p a unit. this means its value has slid another 4.85pc since investors received £2.1bn of their cash back in January.

Savers in the fund have dodged the much wider fall which has rocked the market since coronavirus fears gripped traders.
