Hazel Hill remains a huge threat given his four-length success last year, but there is a chance Shantou Flyer may finish a little closer this time. The 10-year-old was held up by a loose horse when they turned for home but he rallied gamely and his Cheltenham stats read 1142222, so he should be on the scene. Ireland also appears to have strong claims courtesy of BILLAWAY who was bought with a view to winning this race. He readily dismissed Staker Wallace at Naas and, although the runner-up was returning from a long absence that day, Billaway was very impressive and gains the nod.
