MaNy organisati­ons are now putting live performanc­es online. The National Theatre ( national

theatre. org. uk) announced it would be streaming plays on youTube, starting with one Man, Two Guvnors with James corden. a new play will be available every Thursday at 7pm for seven days.

shakespear­e’s Globe is also sharing free plays online ( globeplaye­r. tv) — including 37 short films and six filmed performanc­es. The Royal opera House ( roh.org.uk) is streaming performanc­es every Friday on Facebook and youTube.

andrew Lloyd Webber musicals will also be released once a week on youTube channel The shows Must Go on ( andrewlloy­dwebber.com/ the-shows-must-go-on). The scheme began with Joseph and The amazing Technicolo­r Dreamcoat, starring Donny osmond. They will be available for 48 hours.

GET CREATIVE

asiaN restaurant Wagamama is uploading free virtual cooking lessons called Wok From Home from today on youTube, instagram and Facebook. Bakery Bread ahead ( breadahead.

com) offers baking tutorials on its instagram page every day at 2pm. every Friday at 5pm, Rude Health is teaching viewers how to make health foods, including sauerkraut and oat milk, on its Facebook page ( facebook.com/rudehealth).

if cooking isn’t your bag, why not teach yourself to play a musical instrument? Fender.com is offering three months of free lessons, including guitar, ukulele and bass.

MaNy companies are now giving free or discounted services to NHs workers as a way of thanking staff for continuing care.

Delivery service Just eat is offering 25 pc off meals with daily codes until april 13 ( just- eat.co. uk/explore/ nhs-discount).

NHs staff can also get a 50 pc discount on Firezza, Leon, yo! sushi and Las iguanas deliveries or collection­s.

WHsmith and superdrug are also giving NHs workers a 20 pc discount on purchases.

Drivers can get a free ten point car check from Halfords, including top-ups of tyre inflation, screen wash and checks on oil levels.
