Look ahead

TITAN Travel ( titantrave­l.co.uk) has released its brochure for 2021, with 15 new tours including 11-days in Eastern Canada and an eight-day visit to the Italian islands of Ischia and Sorrento. Customers will be able to put down a deposit of just £49pp, on bookings before September 30, with the option to make a change up to 75 days before departure.

There are 200 holidays to choose from, and the eight-day visit to Ischia and Sorrento starts at £1,479 pp, with flights included.

Tea-time treats

THE five-star Lanesborou­gh hotel in London will celebrate St George’s Day tomorrow by delivering afternoon tea to the NHS staff at St George’s Hospital in Tooting. A selection of sandwiches, scones and cakes is being sent as a small token of the hotel’s appreciati­on to the 9,000 staff who work at the South London hospital. The Lanesborou­gh, which opened in 1991, is on the former site of St George’s in Knightsbri­dge.

Autumn culture

WITH the autumn and hopefully the end of lockdown in mind, Travel For The Arts (travelfort­hearts.com) has released a selection of breaks for the culturally minded traveller. See the ballet in Milan, enjoy a music festival in the Czech Republic, celebrate the Verdi Festival in Parma or immerse yourself in opera in Paris.
