Denied family hugs

My young great-grandchildren, whom I love dearly, are in two families.

I used to do the school run and one would stay with me at weekends. How do you tell small children one is preferred to the other? The only solution is to see neither.

Yet another example of this Government’s muddled thinking, which benefits a few and harms the many.
