SHE recently spoke about her addiction to tanning and described the sun as being her ‘drug of choice’.
And yesterday Ulrika Jonsson posted a striking and honest image of her bronzed face as she celebrated the return of the sunshine after days of grey weather.
The 52-year-old shared the picture with her 88,000 Instagram followers, revealing that she had washed her hair for the first time in ‘eight days’.
The Swedish-born TV presenter, who has four children by four fathers, appeared to have just stepped from the shower before taking the selfie.
Alongside the photo she wrote: ‘The sun came back! So I washed my hair for the first time in eight days. (God, I hate washing my hair. It’s so booooooring).’
And it seems she isn’t alone. One user commented: ‘I’m so glad I’m not the only person who stretches a hair wash out for as long as possible... got to 15 days last time.’ Another said: ‘I’ve always hated washing my hair. I leave it for ten days if I can. Worst job ever, so much time wasted.’
Last month Miss Jonsson wrote in her column in The Sun: ‘I will not make any excuses for being a sunbather, a sun lover, nay, a sun worshipper. It’s in my DNA and will never leave me ... My drug of choice is the sun.’
