THIS new series follows not just the paramedics of the West Midlands Ambulance Service, but also the new recruits mobilised to deal with all the extra calls during the peak of the pandemic in April (such as 21-year-old Sam, pictured left). The reality of how much danger the paramedics are placing themselves in to help people is soon clear.
