After Ben Stokes’ decision to bat first, Broad tweeted a photo of the Ageas Bowl enveloped in overcast skies with a caption: ‘Lads batting hard in tremendous English bowling conditions.’ Perhaps unsurprisi­ngly, he later clarified: ‘100 per cent the right decision at the toss...’
