TONIGHT’S new episode fo­cuses on the pro­duc­tion of Ja­pan’s im­pres­sive A6M Zero, a fighter that was lighter, faster and more ag­ile than any­thing the Amer­i­cans had over the Pa­cific. This ‘fly­ing fuel tank’ also had a range of more than 1,100 miles, three times that of the Spit­fire.
