what about the terrible toll on the environment caused by used disposable masks abandoned as litter on our streets? I counted 11 on a five-minute walk. Billions will end up in landfill and many have microplastics that pollute the oceans.

For the cost of a month’s supply of disposable masks, five reusable ones can be bought, washed and used over again.
