IF BORIs Johnson wants us back at work, he should tell Mps, the House of Lords and the civil service to lead by example.

GEORGE SPELLER, Watton, Norfolk. HaVING been made redundant, I went to my former office in the City of London to clear my locker.

what a sad sight with so many empty streets, closed shops and restaurants. I pray that London and all our cities will somehow be saved.

Name and address supplied. CONstRUCtION was fully back to work three months ago, super

markets never closed and the supply network has continued throughout lockdown, so why isn’t the rest of the country back at work?

PAUL RUANE, Cannington, Somerset. I CAN see the effect of the working from home culture. At my local golf club, I used to be able to walk on to the course after noon on the same day without booking. Now you need to book when the tee times open to have any chance of getting a slot in two weeks’ time. VICTOR HART, Windlesham, Surrey.
