Vroom to improve
AT LAST someone who should know, Lewis Hamilton no less, has stated that Formula 1 is boring (Mail). He says don’t blame the driver, blame the ‘decision-makers’.
Every other word in the commentary is ‘tyres’. Races can be won or lost due to how long it takes to change tyres, after one lap cars are strung out and the chances of seeing any overtaking are minimal.
Something must be wrong with the rules when Mercedes is so dominant.
Would Hamilton struggle if he had to drive one of the cars that are regularly at the back of the field?
For real excitement, I would recommend switching to MotoGP or British and World Superbikes. The regulations ensure all of the machines have an equal chance of victory, with success purely down to the skill of the rider. MICHAEL HARRIS, Bletchingley, Surrey.
