WHAT ‘mountain’ must pupils climb to be ready to take exams next year (Mail)?

They have not taken months off school, as has been claimed by Labour.

The lockdown came before two weeks of Easter holidays. Then came a week off at halfterm and then the usual sixweek summer holiday.

At most they have lost six weeks’ teaching time, but most received online lessons.

SALLY BUTLER, Rustington, W. Sussex. AS A teacher, I do not believe there is a need to radically alter the 2021 exams.

As all the students will have been equally disadvantaged due to school closures, it should only be necessary to alter grade boundaries. N. J. WOOTTON, Wallasey, Wirral.
