Ted Baker comeback
THE former chief executive of Ted Baker will once again be represented in the boardroom 18 months after he resigned over a ‘ forced hugging’ scandal.
Ray Kelvin has signed a ‘ relationship agreement’ allowing him to nominate a director to the board of the brand he founded in 1988.
He will not return to the luxury clothing firm’s offices or be involved in day-to-day decisions. He has nominated Colin La Fontaine Jackson, a solicitor and corporate finance expert, to sit on the board on his behalf.
Boss Rachel osborne is trying to restore the brand’s reputation after Kelvin was accused of workplace misconduct. He denied the allegations but resigned in March last year.
