÷ LEICESTER have agreed a £21 million deal for Atalanta full back Timothy Castagne. The 24-year-old will sign a five-year contract after internatio­nal duty with Belgium. Castagne said: ‘I like Leicester’s style of play, it should suit me.’

÷ CRYSTAL PALACE have rejected an offer of around £20m for Alexander Sorloth from RB Leipzig. The German club want the striker, 24, to replace Timo Werner following his move to Chelsea. Palace’s hopes of signing Ipswich midfielder Flynn Downes have improved after he handed in a transfer request. The Eagles have had two bids of around £2m rejected.

÷ BRIGHTON striker Glenn Murray has agreed a season-long loan move to Watford. The 36-yearold’s switch comes amid interest in captain Troy Deeney from West Bromwich and Spurs.
