Emin’s new show? It’ll be a Scream...
IF AN unmade bed is enough to make you scream, a new art show may be for you.
Tracey Emin will exhibit paintings alongside works by Norwegian artist Edvard Munch – famous for The Scream – at the Royal Academy of Arts in London. The Loneliness of the Soul exhibition will focus on themes such as grief and loss.
Emin, 57, famous for her 1999 unmade bed art installation, has picked 19 works by Munch – but it will not include 1893’s The Scream, which will remain in Oslo.
These will sit alongside 25 of her own pieces. The show runs from November until February before switching to Oslo.
