£20M DOUCOURE JOINS EVERTON REVOLUTION
EVERTON have agreed a deal worth an initial £20million with Watford for Abdoulaye Doucoure to complete their midfield revamp. The 27-year-old will sign a four-year contract and follows James Rodriguez from Real Madrid (£20m) and Allan from Napoli (£24m) to Goodison. Rodriguez was in London last night and travels to Everton today for a medical. DC United have expressed interest in Everton’s Gylfi Sigurdsson but will not be able to afford him. WATFORD have turned to Swansea captain Matt Grimes as Doucoure’s replacement.
WEST HAM have received a £14m bid, rising to £18m, from West Bromwich for winger Grady Diangana, 22. Albion have had a £15m offer for Huddersfield’s Karlan Grant rejected but are closing on £1m Wigan defender Cedric Kipre. West Ham have signed former Wimbledon midfielder Ossama Ashley, 20. ASTON VILLA have completed the £14m capture of right back Matty Cash (above) from Nottingham Forest. Villa are in a straight fight with Newcastle for Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson.
