STRANGER Things’ Millie Bobby Brown (pictured) is Enola, the little sister of Sherlock (Henry Cavill) who’s been brought up wild by their enigmatic mother (Helena Bonham Carter). She goes on an empowering and starry adventure in Netflix’s film, which is well-timed in such a sparse cinematic year.

DANGEROUS WORK War Factories, 8pm, Yesterday

THE last part tells the poignant story of Barnbow Factory, near Leeds. Its well-paid workers, 93 per cent female, produced critical munitions for World War I — and in 1916, 35 of them died in a explosion that was hushed up. The factory was working 24 hours later.

OPERA PERFORMANC­E ENO’s La Boheme Live At The Drive-In, 8pm, Sky Arts

THE English National Opera returns to live performanc­e with a unique drive-in experience. This 90-minute production of Puccini’s tragic romance, starring Natalya Romaniw, is staged for audiences sitting in their cars at Alexandra Palace.

GOOD AS NEW Salvage Hunters: The Restorers, 9pm, Quest

DREW PRITCHARD has picked up a real gem this week. It’s an old police lantern, and he’s brought in lighting specialist Jolene Famer to work her restorativ­e magic on the piece. Meanwhile, mohawk-sporting metal artist Ted Edley has a 19th-century French copper bath to restore.

VIKING DIET Gordon Ramsay: Uncharted, 9pm, National Geographic

GORDON herds reindeer in Norway, and takes a nasty spill off a snowmobile in the process. Elsewhere, in his quest to become ‘a real Viking’, the chef dives for his own scallops, eats blood pancakes and reindeer stew, and puts together a feast for the locals.

ON SONG Celebrity Karaoke Club, 10pm, ITV2

SCARLETT MOFFATT (pictured with singer Tallia Storm), drag queen Courtney Act and DJ and presenter Melvin Odoom are among the familiar faces in a new singing contest set in an intimate karaoke bar. The stars judge each other, but are also each others’ only audience. There is no shortage of enthusiasm during the songs or Big Brothersty­le chatting in between.

MUSIC AWARDS Mercury Prize 2020: Album Of The Year, 10pm, BBC4
