TIGGY Legge-Bourke was at the centre of Bashir’s attempt to secure his interview. The nanny’s relationship with William and Harry had led to jealousy from Diana, and, by 1995, the princess was also concerned about a closeness between Miss Legge-Bourke and her estranged husband. Bashir’s fax to Diana’s brother was an attempt to win his trust – and hers – by playing on that false belief.
